Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
Begin increasing your water intake 24–48 hours before your appointment. Well-hydrated skin tends to respond better and recover more smoothly.
Let us know about medications or supplements.
Some prescriptions and supplements can affect sensitivity, bruising, or healing. Bring or share your full list so we can plan with safety in mind.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior.
Alcohol can increase inflammation and the likelihood of bruising. Skipping it the day before is a simple step that supports a smoother experience.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin (if applicable).
Clean skin helps us properly assess your baseline and reduces the risk of irritation—especially for treatments involving devices or deeper skin work.
Limit caffeine the morning of your appointment.
Caffeine can increase sensitivity and make you feel more “amped” than you want to be. If you’re prone to nerves, consider reducing or skipping it.
Plan a little extra time for your visit.
A calm arrival sets the tone. Give yourself breathing room for check-in, questions, and any numbing time (when needed).
Pause strenuous workouts the day of treatment.

Dress comfortably and skip makeup (if possible).

Skip harsh skincare products for a few days.
Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and aggressive scrubs beforehand unless we’ve instructed otherwise. A calm barrier responds better.
